The black RCF EVOX JMIX8 is an active 12″ 2-way 1400W portable linearray PA system with an 8-input mixer designed to deliver powerfulsound projection and flexible multi-source mixing for musicians,presenters, and audio engineers in clubs, parties, and live stageapplications. Class-D amplification pumps 1400W peak (700W RMS)through a 12″ high-excursion woofer and eight 2″ full-rangedrivers, resulting in a frequency response of 40 Hz to 20 kHz. Thesystem design produces a 120° horizontal by 30° vertical coveragepattern.
Four XLR-1/4″ combo inputs, stereo 1/4″ inputs, stereo RCA jacks,and a built-in Bluetooth receiver feed the digital mixer. Thesubwoofer and satellite components interconnect via speakON andbalanced XLR jacks are present for stereo linking with anotherspeaker. Integrated DSP processing with FiRPHASE technology grantsadjustable compression, EQ, guitar amp and cabinet simulation,reverb, delay, and more. Access all mixer functions from the panelcontrols or via the RCF EVOX iOS or Android app.
The polypropylene composite cabinet minimizes weight and can beeasily transported via the built-in carry handle. The adjustablepole mount offers simple height positioning of the satellite unit,which conveniently stores in the subwoofer enclosure. One speakONcable and a power cord are included with the EVOX JMIX8.
FiRPHASE Technology
RCF speakers are designed by using FiRPHASE, a proprietary andadvanced FIR filtering technology, conceived for deliveringtransparent sound, clarity, and ideal stereo images to thelistener. The FiRPHASE algorithm optimizes dynamics, amplitude, andphase patterns while maintaining minimum system latency.
Complementary Components
The ultra-compact, full-range 2″ RCF drivers are capable ofhandling high SPL and power with reliable sound performance. Thehigh-excursion 12″ RCF woofer extends to 40 Hz while offering quickand precise punch. The bass-reflex port design avoids airturbulence and reduces distortions. The EVOX design featuresconstant directivity coverage of 120° horizontal by 30° vertical,providing an optimal coverage pattern. The vertical array isprogressively shaped to guarantee consistent sound coverage fromthe first row to the last.
Class-D Amplification
RCF’s Class-D power amplifier technology packs performance gainwith high efficiency into a lightweight solution. EVOX amplifierdelivers ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response, andimpressive audio performance. The amplifier features a solidmechanical aluminium structure, which not only stabilizes theamplifier during transportation, but also aids in heat dissipation.The EVOX amplifier utilizes a switch-mode power supply section inorder to produce maximum output and minimum transportationweight.
Mic/Line Switch
A useful Mic/Line switch offers simple input sensitivity selection.When used for speech, the Mic setting allows to use a microphonedirectly with the speaker. Set the selector to Line when using thespeaker for live music or playback.
Integrated Digital Mixer
All the available functions on the EVOX JMIX8 system integratedmixer can be managed from the operating panel. The select buttons:INPUT, OUTPUT, HOME, SYSTEM, MFX, and FX give access to all theparameter pages on the LCD display.
Dynamic Compressor
Combo inputs are provided with a single-control compressor. Thecontrol slider acts on the amount of compressor intervention. Adedicated button toggles the compressor on and off. Up to sixdifferent presets can be selected from the Compressor Model list:Light, Heavy, Vocal, Bass, Acoustic, and Drum.
Main Channel
A 7-band graphic EQ on the Main Channel lets you shape thefrequency response of the system. In order to have a powerfuloverall sound, limited peaks, and increased harmonics, fourmastering processing presets can be selected: Mastering, MasterBoost, Loud & Proud, and Hi-Fi.
Guitar Amp and Cabinet Simulations
The fourth line input can be switched to a Hi-Z mode and hostseveral realistic amp modeling simulators. Guitar and bass playerscan count on a whole range of fifteen realistic emulations tunedfor the maximum reality: Darkface ’65, Jazz C, Rock ’64, Rock 800Crunch, Rock 900 Lead, Top30, Modern, Bassamp, Bassmate, Markbass1, Markbass 2, Slo 88 Crunch, Slo 88 Lead, Overange 120, Heavy 51,and others. Shape the sound of each amp via four differentparameters, store it in the preset memory, and recall via the EVOXApp, panel, or footswitch (available separately).
Plentiful Effects
The JMIX8 features eighty effects presets from the premium RCFZ.CORE.DSP, each with three parameter controls. Choose from fortyreverbs, twenty delay types, and twenty modulation effects to shapeany nuance of your music.
App Control
The RCF EVOX app (available for iOS and Android) ensurescomprehensive control of J Series mixers on your smartphone viaBluetooth. With intuitive graphics created by audio professionals,the app allows you to navigate between pages and fully control themixer’s parameters even while playing.

In addition to the handle on top of the woofer’s cabinet,transportation is made easy thanks to the trolley, that is fullyintegrated into the optional cover of the speaker. Duringtransportation, the metal pole is safely attached to the trolleywith the cover’s handles.
