The Ibanez JBM10FXPWM solidbody electric guitar is a moreaffordable version of Periphery guitarist Jake Bowen’s cutting-edge6-string signature model.
Hailing from upstate New York, guitarist Jake Bowen has been anintegral cog in the Grammy-nominated progressive metal machineknown as Periphery. Their 2010 self-titled debut solidified theirplace in the metal world and helped popularize an exciting newgeneration of music known as “djent”. In between touring andwriting for Periphery, Jake also composes and releases electronicmusic under his own name and collaborates with his bandmate MishaMansoor on a project called Four Seconds Ago. His solo debutrelease, “Isometric”, was released in 2015.
Maple Wizard III neck allows for warp-speed fretboard work andsmooth access to the upper frets.

The Gibraltar Standard II is a simple fixed bridge that wasdesigned to unify with the guitar’s body and provide optimaltransfer of each string’s vibration. Smooth surface is designed tomaximize playing comfort.
The Gotoh® MG-T locking machine heads achieve incredible tuningstability, cutting down string-changing time.
Switching Systems:
When the pickup selector switch is in neck position, the neckpickup is selected. When the switch is between neck and centerposition, the neck humbucker is selected and is in parallel. Whenthe switch is in center position, both neck and bridge pickups areselected. When the switch is in between center and bridge position,bridge side of the neck pickup and neck side of the bridge pickupare selected. When the switch is in bridge position, the bridgepickup is selected.
Controls:
With the guitar held in the playing position, there is a five-waypickup selector switch close to the edge of the body. The volumeknob is located near the end of the body.
